 | On April 26-28, 2013 members of Uzbekistan Society for the Protection of Birds carried out traditional spring counts of Pheasants in Dalverzin hunting management area. 25 people participating in the event counted 8820 Pheasants - it's 15.6 % more than in the last year.

 | In the first days of April 2013 International Bird Day was celebrated in Uzbekistan. In this year April bird counts and educational events covered Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Fergana regions of Uzbekistan as well as Karakalpakstan and involved about 300 schoolchildren, students and grown-ups.
