As BirdLife Europe and Central Asia Conservation Team Blog reports, 2015 has been a critical year for Nature in Europe and Central Asia. The campaign in defense of the EU Nature Directives has started in full force, and our Partnership has been extremely active at all fronts. Within and beyond the EU, from Ireland to Kyrgyzstan, and despite financial crisis and political uncertainties, our partners continued to deliver the conservation agenda with passion, overcoming difficulties, using our network to share experiences and build alliances.
The results of such an amazing team-effort were recently reviewed at our European and Central Asia Partnership Meeting, held in Sofia in October. During the first day of our meeting, we presented a summary of our conservation-progress, comparing what we agreed in the previous EMP (Austria) and the results of the Quality Assurance Questionnaire. We really encourage you to see this presentation and share it with your teams.
