CONSERVATION ASIA 2018

Conservation Asia 2018, the largest international conference hosted by the American University of Central Asia and the Society for Conservation Biology - Asia Section on August 6-10 in Bishkek joined over 500 specialists in nature conservation.

BirdLife International Partner organizations in Central Asia, including Uzbekistan Society for the Protection of Birds, took an active part in the conference. At the symposium 'IBAs/KBAs: Implementation of the BirdLife's Global Species-Oriented Programme in Central Asia' presentations were made by representatives of organizations working on BirdLife programmes in India, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
